Nach wie vor ist die Automobilindustrie der wichtigste Industriezweig und ein Jobmotor in Deutschland. Die deutsche Automobilindustrie ist jedoch stark exportorientiert, so dass Trends und globale Absatzmärkte genau beobachtet werden müssen. Nur so können in Zukunft Arbeitsplätze gesichert und der Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland nachhaltig gestärkt werden. Ein für die deutsche Wirtschaft wichtiger PKW-Absatzmarkt ist die Türkei. 2015 exportierte Deutschland PKW und Ersatzteile mit einem Gesamtvolumen von mehr als 4,5 Milliarden Euro in die Türkei. Die Türkei ist hingegen der größte Produzent von Nutzfahrzeugen in Europa. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat der German-Turkish Automotiv Summit die Themen „Automobilindustrie der Zukunft und PKW-Handel in Deutschland und der Türkei“ zum Gegenstand. In einer Podiumsdiskussion nehmen hochkarätige Experten Stellung zu neuen zukunftsweisenden Technologien, wie dem autonomen Fahren oder alternativen Antriebstechniken. Wie wird sich die Automobilbranche entwickeln? Welche Chancen bietet die Digitalisierung? Wie kann die Produktivität in Deutschland und der Türkei gesteigert werden? Und wie werden sich die neuen Trends auf den bilateralen Fahrzeughandel und auf die Wirtschaftsbeziehungen zwischen Deutschland und der Türkei auswirken? Moderiert wird die Podiumsdiskussion von dem Präsidenten des türkischen Unternehmerverbandes MÜSIAD. Als Experten sind zwei Vertreter der Automobil-Industrie, der Präsident des türkischen Automobil-Exportverbandes OIB, und ein Hochschulprofessor eingeladen. Die Veranstaltung schließt mit einem Gala-Dinner ab.

An dieser branchenübergreifenden Kontaktmesse werden als Aussteller ca. 50 verschiedene Unternehmen aus der Türkei und rund 120 Firmenvertreter aus ganz Deutschland und Europa teilnehmen. Hier wird eine Besucherzahl von 2000 erwartet. Parallel hierzu werden in einem benachbarten Konferenzraum B2B-Gespräche stattfinden.

Die Kontaktmesse ermöglicht branchenübergreifend deutschen und türkischen Unternehmen, sich zu präsentieren und bietet die Gelegenheit, neue Handels- und Ansprechpartner zu finden.

Die Veranstaltung findet in Kooperation mit der Industrie- und Handelskammer Darmstadt und der freundlichen Unterstützung des türkischen Exportverbandes TIM (www.tim.org.tr), IHK Hanau-Gelnhausen-Schlüchern und IHK Offenbach statt.

Das darmstadtium liegt verkehrsgünstig im Herzen des Rhein-Main-Gebiets mit direktem Anschluss an die Autobahnen A5 und A67. Den internationalen Flughafen Frankfurt erreicht man mit dem PKW in 20 Minuten, mit der Bahn oder dem Busshuttle AirLiner (dieser hält direkt vor dem darmstadtium) in etwa 30 Minuten. Der Darmstädter Hauptbahnhof liegt knapp fünf Minuten vom Wissenschafts- und Kongresszentrum entfernt und ist sowohl mit dem PKW als auch mit der Straßenbahn sehr gut erreichbar.
